hey guys

those of you getting an atar received a booklet yesterday or something talking about how it works
a faq is "does which school i attend affect my atar?"
the answer was no, it is only based on the marks the board has

does this mean the school will have no affect on my atar result

the RANK of your school compared to other schools does NOT have any effect on your ATAR

however, YOUR rank within your school does

School ranks are calculated after ATAR's are given out

so you could be in the lowest ranked school and still get an 99.95 ATAR
