I reakon 68-72 maybe, 80 is a real stretch - but the externals are worth 50% so anything is possible.School rank is around 400
Eng adv 48/57
Maths adv 30/74
Maths ext1 28/37
Ancient 11/18
Ipt 6/8
Sdd 1/6
Is it possible for me to get an atar of 80?
Cheers
I reakon 80-85, 90 is a real stretch - but as I said for the OP, the externals are worth 50% so anything is possible.Hey =]
It depends how you go in the final exams. If you do significantly better (eg score an 80 in a subject you have been getting 60 in) then I reckon its definitely possible =] I'm just guessing, so i could be wrong though. If you need that mark for a certain course, remember; universities offer bonus points sometimes, and can even lower the atar if the course isn't as popular, or you present yourself as determined and motivated, requesting an interview. Where there's a will, there's a way =]
I'm kind of in the same boat at you, my school's around 340, my results are:
Eng Adv 4/75
Maths Adv 7/27
Maths Ext 6/15
Chem 15/28
Bio 3/41
Drama 6/11
But i'm aiming for a 90...what do you think my chances are??
Thanks =]
I'm pretty sure i'm capable of getting a lot better results than the ranks show. If I were to do considerably better, what's the top ATAR I could possibly get?I reakon 68-72 maybe, 80 is a real stretch - but the externals are worth 50% so anything is possible.
I reakon 77. My mate got this (at a school ranked 290ish) and he was ranked top 40% in all his subjects.I'm pretty sure i'm capable of getting a lot better results than the ranks show. If I were to do considerably better, what's the top ATAR I could possibly get?
