Help needed please!

One question..

Describe the standard emergency procedures for fire, medical attention, evacuation, bomb threat and chemical spills/toxic fumes.

my notes, don't seem to cover this, (perhaps its my absence.. :p)..

If you can answer that, i'll be MUCH appreciative..and I'll even throw in a bonus blessing for you, for the upcoming exam..*note my desparate tone*..

:D

hi, there are certain procedures i dont know all but hopefully this will help ya!

Safety/security procedures
Fire: Reception are notified by manager and required to announce evacuation code over the public announcement speaker. Staff assist customers to evacuate to a evacuation rendevous point and remain there untill everyone has been accounted for and the chief warden says its ok to go back inside. Staff need to report any people unaccounted for.

Bomb threat: the person recieving the call must gather as much information aboiut the bomb and the caller. Questions should include:
where has the bomb been placed
when due to go off
why has the bomb been placed there
what does bomb look like
who has placed the bomb
NB the reciever must try to keep the caller on thelina as long as poss so police can track call

Medical emergencies:
Qualified 1st aid person attend injured person
Ambulance called and give following info
Nature of injury
brief medical history
age
what has been done so far
Remove crowds
on ambulance arrival clear directions need to be given
incident recorded according to legislative guidelines
follow up

i hope that helped you... if you have the excell hospitality book you will find more info in there if u dont see if n e one in ur class has one u can photo copy. do u know the correct Hospo SECTORS... my notes only give key departments.
Good luck kiddo... bee

what you said, are the key departments, which are found in the sectors.
