9:41: The CNN person in Phoenix (not a hologram) says the gathering is listening to Hank Williams Jr hasn't been told about Ohio yet.

9:40: Apparently the McCain party in the Phoenix Biltmore has "turned off the news", according to CNN. They get everything they need from Hank Jr.
Oh dear.

If McCain turns it around, it would be the fluke of a lifetime

BBC:
Obama: 200
McCain: 124

Olbermann:

NM just went to Obama, and I think that pretty much ends it.

He's 200 now.

Cali is 55 and an Obama lock.

Hawaii is 4 and an Obama lock.

Wash is 11 and an Obama lock.

Thats 270. And thats discounting Oregon which is an Obama lock, and like 8 other states where he's either a heavy lean or leading right now.

Obama is president.

We can still go, together if you want.

I have another friend in Chatswood so I can stay there if this election potty turns out to be unwelcoming/boring

Go get your bag, I'll put on my joggers and then we'll go. :)

This election coverage is dull. Obama won about two days ago. Zzzzz.

I almost got rolled by lads in chatswood. But I recognized one and they were like 'oooh sooryy brah' and shake my hand.

I'm a lucky man.

I don't think I'll go. I need to keep my identity a secret.

The ABC's coverage suggests renewed diplomatic ties with the United States, and Australia. I could see that happening with Obama taking the needed leadership role, but to suggest that the relationship we have will not be strained is ludicrous. Obama, although a great leader, both on the national and international level, is also a threat to the BRIC nations prospects of ending a unipolar world.

Obama has the ability to rally EU and ex-British-Colonial nations behind his cause, and even though Obama is preferable to McCain, he has never suggested he opposes the American run unipolar world.

All-in-all this is not looking very good. At the moment the only way to prevent a massive global issue on par with the second world war is for the United States to be isolated. Let it deal with it's internal policies and rebuild diplomatic ties from the cowboy and indian style diplomacy of Bush.

America needs to slowly rebuild it's influence and power similarly to Germany after WW2, in order to maintain world peace and stability. Anything too rapid could be considered a threat by the upcoming powers.

And seriously annoyed with some of the ballot measures. It looks like Florida is going to ban gay marriage. Fuckers.
Where's the stats for that? You need 60% to pass constitutional amendments, right?
