They are still armed forces, fucker, they could over run almost any country on earth, just due to sheer numbersVahl3 said:Yes 683,000 is South Korea's standing army which is high tech wheras the Chinese figure of 2,810,000 is incorrect because it includes the Peoples Armed Police. The PLA itself is only about a million personal I believe, and it includes air and naval personel.
The PAP don't have good weapons, armored vehicles etc. Russia had numerical advantage in WW1 and they didn't win.Korn said:They are still armed forces, fucker, they could over run almost any country on earth, just due to sheer numbers
Yes but they were all crap tech compared to today, now however a AK-47 can still fuck shit up, even against M4'sVahl3 said:The PAP don't have good weapons, armored vehicles etc. Russia had numerical advantage in WW1 and they didn't win.
China had numerical advantage in Korean war and they didn't win. Boxer Rebellion also.
Numerical advantage is useless against technological superiority unless you outnumber your opponent by many, many times, and that is probably due to insufficient weapon stockpiles.
Chinese forces are equipped with indigenous small arms. Besides, US air superiority would be quickly established and Chinese ground forces would be ineffectual. By the way US armoured vehicles are equipped to resist small arms fire as well as attacks from LAW style weapons etc.Korn said:Yes but they were all crap tech compared to today, now however a AK-47 can still fuck shit up, even against M4's
I agree that the US would beat China but the narrowly, the world would be fucked up big time, cause you would have all the terrorists on China's side as well as many Middle Eastern Countries, and North KoreaVahl3 said:Chinese forces are equipped with indigenous small arms. Yes but did i say they were bad, there are no clear good guys and bad guys in the real world, but North Korea hate the US, so they would side with China and they have an allied relationship with China.Vahl3 said:North Korea is not a bad nation. Remember that the North originally invaded the South in a pre-emptive stike to prevent an agressive South from invading the North. (Similar to the US's policy but used in a more legitimate way. So you cannot critisise the North for starting the Korean war.
Furthermore, whilst the leaders of the North have apparently abused human rights etc. North Korea is faced with an aggressive US which has forces stationed in South Korea. As such it maintains a total war economy in order to produce the munitions to give it a chance of survival. Thus it is wrong to be high and mighty about the human rights abuses(although not excuse them) considering the measures taken in WW1 within Germany, Britain etc.
No wonder the North Hates the US. The US has severely restricted the North's development resulting in famine etc. US bombing North Korean power stations etc.Korn said:Yes but did i say they were bad, there are no clear good guys and bad guys in the real world, but North Korea hate the US, so they would side with China and they have an allied relationship with China.
No india and Pakistan would probably nuke each otherVangineer said:If war broke out between USA and China, USA is fucked over - gives N Korea a reason to send nukes over to america. Not only so, but the other azn countries like india and pakistan both have nukes.
If Australia is involved, they'll get screwd up as well. Australia really shud stay neutral and not involve in these international problems!
Yes but there were stockpiles of conventional weapons throughout Iraq and the resistance to US forces has been due to the unprovoked attack and arrogant manner in which the US has imposed a government, restricted freedoms( such as removing the Iraqi civil code) etc.Templar said:A war with China would vastly stretch US forces (a couple hundred thousand were needed to invade a virtually defenceless country like Iraq), leaving the US mainland open to attacks by terrorists.

Well said, I agree.Italian Hotshot said:Hypocritical fuckers.
Umm Australia would easily invade New Zealand, especially since we run all their CAP's.Italian Hotshot said:I hate the way the US is currently acting to China ... Rice said tonight that America was 'concerned' with the growth in the power of China and were afraid that they would "head down the wrong path."
Hypocritical fuckers. They are simply trying to instigate China into a less dominant Foreign Policy - ATTACK AT WILL CHINA! Australia would struggle to invade New Zealand or Tonga, let alone have an impact in the US v. China battle.
Yep, it is the way the US believes that it can dictate to the world its polices. It doesn't matter how powerful an authority is, without the compliance of those it attempts to rule the US cannot exert its muscle. Thus the more the US pisses off the world the more it 'heads down the wrong path' to its own ultimate irrelevance.Italian Hotshot said:I hate the way the US is currently acting to China ...
