well, i have to write an essay:

Assess the view that Nazi Foreign Policy was more driven by opportunity than by ideology.

my 3 points on ideology are:

1. Social Darwinism
2. Autarky
3. Volksgemeinschaft

I have information about Hitler's intentions to make Germany self-sufficient due to minimising the use of imported goods/raw materials. I need a source, i don't care if it's Primary or Secondary i Just need a source to back it up. I have looked everywhere, if someone knows where i could possibly find a qutoe on Autarky this it would help me out alot! thanks in advance!

You dont need a quote per se, you can just paraphrase the view of a single historian or historians in general.

I'm pretty sure that you dont need to be specific, saying something like "Many historians believe X" is enough to constitute historiography.
