Hey i recently started year 12 and am interested in doing a finance or economics or commerce degree or something along those lines, all majoring in accounting.

I am currerntly trialling 4u maths.

I heard that some universities offer automatic entry into some of these courses to those who do 4 u maths. Is this true or strictly a rumour?

If it is true, which universities offer this?

any help would be greatly appreciated

p.s for some reason i have a gut feeling that this is not true!

dude.. there is no way that's true...

for that matter i can also say if i do "4 unit english, i can get into an arts course"

like friggie said... it would be ridiculous towards the UAC policies.

Its not true.

What is true but, is that most people who are sucessfull at 4 unit maths usually get the higher UAI's which give them more options to enter any university.

That statement was about as useful as "those who are succesful at the HSC usually get the higher UAIs which give them more options to enter university".

You win this time, but he could have just as easily been doing Arts.

We play this game a lot at uni. ;) The trick is to wait for defining words like "profound" (arts) or "quantifiable error" (physics).
