this is the first year that Automotive is being counted towards a uai in the hsc...
is there is any way to get some practice exam papers.

Depends if past exams are available; what I mean is, have past exams been conducted?
If yes, all you need to do is visit a TAFE library and ask the librarian (Which you should rubbing shoulders with anyway, she/he is your best source at TAFE) to show you the past exam program on the TAFE computers.

There may have been some sample exams released, even if it hasn't been examined before.
