In need of assistance with finding a relevant related text for the play Away by Michael Gow. I prefer related texts that are common to the themes in Away(family + relationships, life and death, nature as a healing force.) It would be much appreciated, thanks

I'd go for a film to be honest, with not much time left before trials you definitely need to get something you can consume quickly.

I recommend watching Her (2013), a tad mature but nothing a year 12 can't handle. Explores the idea of family and relationships quite well. Has some things about nature in there too I believe.

The Fighter (2010) is also quite nice because it's a story about two brothers and lot's of family themes.

If these two films don't work out you could always resort to comics, look at Michael Leunig for some of his works, it might be what your looking for!
