Im highly interested in finance,

but I guess I dont mind accounting,?? if it has amazing job prospects and worth the extra year

Just do Applied Finance and ace it with high marks. Don't bother with Acct unless you want to do accounting or not confident you can get top marks in Finance.

agreed with above. don't do it unless you have some interest in it- or if you don't think you can do well in finance.
