B Art or Sci / Business vs Art or Sci / Commerce (1 Viewer)

I didn't realise B Art or Sci / Business (3 Years) was offered as a course until i saw an earlier post.

I don't see the point of offering a watered down version of the original combined B Commerce (4 Years).

With these efforts to combine degrees, universities may as well get rid of structured degree plans and just let people pick and choose their majors and minors from any which faculty they choose.

yes, universities should get rid of structured degree plans and let people pick and choose their majors/minors from any faculty of their choice. degrees structures guide you to choosing the right subjects so that you can attain the right skills, but at uni-level, you should be able to figure this out yourself. and no, it is not a "watered down version" but merely more options to choose from.
