A UTS BAcc would fare far better than a generic UNSW BCom (Accounting) in the industry. Given that you switched from a UNSW BEco to a BCom after one year, you aren't exactly in the most ideal position to make a judgement on the quality of the teachings at each uni.

A Co-op(Accounting) B Com student from UNSW would fair better than a B Acc from UTS. You are talking about scholarship students.

You missed my point completely. UNSW has more of "what you're looking for" than UTS when it comes to business.

Since you want to brag about UTS accounting (which by the way your co-ops make up 30 of your students) I might as well just be an even bigger dick and say that the only reason UTS people get jobs in accounting is because they can pay you less.

I am the ideal person to comment on why doing a B Ec is not a problem and is not specialised. Which seems to be the only reason most people seem to be able to give as to why you should go to UTS. If an idiot like me can transfer after a year at UNSW from a B Ec to a B Com/B Ec then anyone can.

I can also comment on the content of your courses which I have.

go to a uni that give you more freebies ? It's always a war of the open days anyways, since each uni are bastards and put the days all on the 'same day' so that they force you to make you choose

You don't seem to understand that unless you have experienced something personally you are not a fountain of knowledge on something which you may have heard of from a friend. Also I don't go to UTS, I've just finished my HSC and have applied to UNSW, USYD and UTS.

Uow offers post grad management certificate but i doubt you'd travel to wollongong.

I'd have to say UNSW's AGSM is the best in nsw.

nah I haven't I'm starting my fourth year in Com/Ec...

I basically haven't accepted anything as of yet because I want to work in finance/economics rather than accounting...I still need to do my finance major this year as I've only done one subject...and I also am planning on doing my honours in eco...are u working yet???

lol haha quite true i asked uts friend and he said same thing (agreed), i go to macquarie and its shit here, the economics subjects are cheapass and accounting isnt any better... just all go unsw and usyd or anu or melbourne , anything else is just RisKinG yout lifeon a measly 40k salary for rest of your life.
