B Pharmacy - Late round (1 Viewer)

The UAI cut off for pharmacy was low this year. 91. something for USYD?

I achieved 94 UAI but since i did STAT after the HSC, im automatically put into the late round entries.

What do you think my chances are getting in for lateround B pharmacy at USYD?

yeah I did sit the STAT during January. Do you think there are any extra vacancies? Like without the need for anyone to reject their offer for pharmacy.

unlikely, they actually overallocate thier offers already in anticipation of x% not accepting, which they can roughly estimate from past experience, and its consitant from year to year.

e.g there are 200 places, but they offer about 210 places in main round, with the anticipation that 5% wont accept.


this is usually the case for courses with large intake numbers, over 50 or so.

there are usually no or few places left for late round but just wait and see how you go.

I'm interested in doing pharmacy next year, but I'm worried about the STAT test. Could anyone give me some feedback?
Is it hard/easy? How can you prepare?

It's easy as. If you know how to read and count then no problemo.
