why dwell on the past? Personally, I don't dwell on the past, I can't escape it, its with me everytime I close my eyes and most of the time when my eyes are open.

sorry, I wasn't referring that comment anyone here, just in general.I think dwelling on the past is different then not being able to escape it, if that makes sense

being fat isnt really over the top self pitying baggage, baggage is usualy, in my opinion, something that is stuck with you. She probably didn't know that what she was describing was pretty much depression or it just came out wrong or was a misunderstanding.
