Band 6 cut off (1 Viewer)

I know that no-one can accurately estimate this...that's why its open to speculation. So what do you think?

or if u get like 85 overall does that then get scaled up?

I have a vague idea. The cut-offs are different every year and are found by how well the state goes. If everyone gets over 80+ then it was an easy test and not everyone deserves a band 5/6. The band 6 cut-off might then change to 96+. Bit of an extreme example...

kinda of topic but is it true that the lowest score u can get is 50?? so thats the band 1?

well its pretty easy to get above 50... unless u did a NON ATTEMPT in that case u would get a BAND 1 (below 50)

you would think that everyone in the state could get above 50- but considering the 4 other people in my class left the exam between the 60-80 minute mark- i would say its very unlikely that we'll all get above 50. i only just had m choice and short answer done when they started to leave....

Well i dont think i got in the band 6 then.... even if the cut off for a band 6 is around 85+ and yeah.... but wat do you guys think the cutoffs for a band 5 is going to be... thanx

yeah lets just hope it's 85, I think I might of gotten about 90 + or - about 2 or 3 marks
