Band 6 cutoff? (1 Viewer)

I'm so nervous about them being strict about answers. Does anyone know what their critera is? I always wrote a little bit more than fit in the lines... Somebody told me that they don't mark anything not in the lines and if this is the case none of my answers will make sense! agh.
I found the exam pretty easy, like I knew every questions - it's just how I answered it...

they read everything you've writen on the paper provided. I've seen plenty of past band5/6 sample responses that go WELL over the given lines.

I don't think that ANY of my short answer responses were contained within the given lines LOL

i would say like 86+ wouldd be a band 6 (HOPEFULLY)
that way i can lose 14 marks aND still get band 6 ...

But u do have to remember the sort of question they were getting. Our one was fairly straight forward and no need for 2 pages i think i went over by like 4 lines

Yea thats exactly how I feel after hearing 92-93 = 90 aligned for bio, like thats so wrong.

don't worry, its definitely incorrect.

i'd imagine this year's band 6 cutt off to be around 85/100.
Usually its around 82-83, but since this year was easier (in my opinion), then it'll be around 85.

But for 2004, 83 became 93 aligned?

one of my friends managed to answer the entire question without actually saying what it is or what it does, lol. how much she'll get for it is another question, though.

EDIT: btw, i can't talk. i knew what it was, but in my stupidity talked about tymbals for one of the points instead.

for last years biology a raw mark of 81 was a 90 aligned mark
i guess it was al ittle easier than dis yrs though
so im guessing maybe a 79-80 raw would be a band 6

I reckon they will put it up to 85-90 seeing how easy it was to so many people, but I guess not completely to those who studied the wrong things
