Banks hiring (1 Viewer)

Im currently studying BAppFin with BComm- accg and just want to know how it is to work in a bank.
Anyone know of any banks hiring? eg. commonwealth or ANZ.
and how old do you have to be to work there? and what experience do you need to have?
I know a friend of mine got a job and just finished her HSC last year, another guy also just had retail experience.

I know a few people that have recently been employed by banks. The youngest turned 18 in October. They only had retail experience, and just work as tellers. I think the best way to get into the industry is by having people already there, or by scouring their careers section for vacancies. Good luck!

Yeah connection will really help ya cos a fnd got a job @cba headquarters with no banking exp even though the job required 2yrs banking exp.

As for me, aish.. orientation as a PT teller next month even though i nearly finished my bcom -accg degree (4units left).

But i guess the main thing is getting your foot in the door, and opportunities will arise.. i hope
