anyone doin bba250?
has anyone else found how pathetic the textbook is?
i dunno about you guys but the textbook is more like an extremely long essay to me.
other texts are great but this one it goes into so much uneccesary information.
Almost everything thats said is referenced or quoted from somewhere.
any other way to get this stuff without reading this "book"
imo based on other books this ones trash

havnt opened the book yet... ut it sure has a ug cover thats for sure...
i cant wait for this accg mid semester we have this weekend mate... week 3 and a test alreadyt

after each chapter theres like 8 pages of references alone
the book is terrible and thats no exageration

ye the accg test
havent even told us anything about it
whats in it what sort of test where we go how long it is

If you are asking, is all the content in the stated chapters examinable or just the parts that were covered in the lectures then here is the answer. The parts that are examinable are all parts that are covered in the lecture, plus parts that are mentioned but not covered in the lectures, and also parts that are covered in the tutorials (even if not covered in the lectures). from webct.

i dont know of the format, should find out in the lecture. i havent started studying for it yet either. (at least we can stuff up together)

that seems rather ambigious dont u think
its like oh yea "this is going to be included, and also that, and even if i didnt tell u it was in, if we did it it will be in, but this wont be in cause this is in"

that being said
is it gonna be like MC? short answer? how longs it gonna be etc? need to tatke time off work

In my opinion, it's a normal business textbook.

(in making that statements, I'm totally agreeing with all the criticisms voiced in this thread)

i already got time off work for it. easy days work on sat days as well!

i have to take another 2 sat off this sem (1 for accg201 and another one for 253). and also taking a sunday off at that time for the cricket. boss wont be happy.
