BE/Bsc Science majors (1 Viewer)

Hey guys,

I'm putting combined Engineering/Science at UNSW as my first preference and want to know whether there are any restrictions on the Science major I can do.

I have been trying to find this out for a while now, I looked on the UNSW website, asked my careers advisor at School and I even called up the Faculty of Engineering at UNSW yet no one can give me a definate answer.

Well unfortunately I'm going to have to live with that as they're the only uni offering the course I want.

Engineering & Science is offered at UOW,USYD AND UTS

Yes, but not in Surveying and Spatial Information Systems, which is what I want.

A high way man, I know the available majors but I was wandering whether there are any restrictions on what you can major in when doing the combined degree.

The website of the course you want. In it, it states

"In all, a minimum of 102 Units of Credit of Science courses must be taken within the combined program, which must include a Science Major defined in Table A in the Science Handbook www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/faculties/current/sci/TableA.html, or an approved Major in Computer Science where this is permitted (Computer Science may not be combined with other computing degrees)."

In other words, theres no restriction.
