Lost? They got the silver medal, I mean like they're only the second best in the world.

Saw Libby's swim at the school library. She was full body length in front of everyone for the majority of the race and then in the last 15 metres or so, Germany just sped up. They were head to head when they reached the last 50 centimetres, but Germany had longer fingers so they won by 0.04 seconds. Bit of a disappointment, but awesome race nonetheless.
