Maybe this is a different sailing division to the guaranteed ones. In the one they were showing, we had to beat italy by 2 placings apparently. Italy capsised, then we capsised multiple times, so i think we'll be stuck with silver/bronze

Yeah aussies got creamed. Aw well, they weren't expected to win. Most of the other countries usually stack all their best rowers into the eights.

aussies guarenteed 2 gold in the sailing apparently. 1 crew has already won on points before the last race and the only way the other crew will lose the gold is if the silver medal contenders finish first and the aussies finish last.

I can't see us winning many more golds with all the water sports wrapping up though.

Yeah, first time it'll be included in the olympics. I checked the odds and the aussie guy is at $1.01 payout for winning the race! incredible.
