Saw the preview for this film just recently.
It reminds me a little of 300.
Directed by Robert Zemeckis, who also directed the Polar Express, this film seems to employ a similar sort of animation. I had to look hard to try and figure out whether the characters were real or animated.

Pretty boring and crap movie but impressive 3D effects.
