Hi everyone!
This is my first post on this forum. Recently got my offer from MQU and have applied for my visa.

Now looking for accommodation options? There are so many options on the MQ website (e.g. Daymen, Macquarie Village, Dunmore Lang College etc.)

Out of all these what will be the cheapest and convenient options?

DLC/RMC are colleges, which although more expensive? have the opportunities of having all meals catered for which can potentially bring down the average weekly amount you need to spend on food etc.
Mate, thanks for these links. Helps out a lot. Currently I am thinking about the MQ parklands or the Herring Road apartments as they seem to be the cheapest. But as I will be new to the country, I also want to meet new people and make some new friends. You think this would be possible living in those places? Or is the MQ Village better?

I have heard from friends that Dayman Place Apartments is the best accommodation for International Students. Apparently, this is because the facilities are very new and there are common rooms in which you can meet a lot of other people and from what I have heard it isn't very expensive. Hope this helped :)

I think MQ village is meant to be really good for socialisation purposes... but honestly all of the places if you want to make friends it is really easy to make some...

Yeah, the Dayman Apartments are quite new. The prices are similar to MQ village, but the downside is that it is a bit far from campus compared to the other options. Will definitely consider it as an option though.
