I forget, but I think there is a 4 yr LLB for people who are 25 years or older. Not sure if that is the one Ms12 is referring to though.
Nope I am referring to the new one for school leavers.

Not that Im recommending going there for an overseas student.....for an overseas student I would recommend ANU, Usyd or UMelb......the only Australian unis that are really recognised overseas (in terms of the names being recognisable, not the courses).
Not UNSW?? I think by now it's pretty well known, at least in SE Asia ...

Exactly what stamos said.

I think UOW is a fantastic law school but when law schools (or schools in general) are discussed overseas it doesn't even bare mention. Nor does UNSW. It might be in the Group of 8, but that doesn't mean if you mention it to someone overseas they're gonna recognise it. But ANU, Usyd, Umelb, they will. Its about prestige, not the quality of the school itself.

anyway, law is hard and hurtful. and i get told off for not doing my readings, but considering my schedule it ought to be excusable. fucking tight-arse teachers. gonna get no CP marks now.

That is very harsh, I never thought the lecturers would be that bad, the guy probably didn't have his mourning coffee.

BTW, have you looked at the UK unis ?
Yeah.. but then you have to live in the UK. Isn't studying depressing enough at times without that weather?

I thought Melbourne had more rainy days on average per year than London ...

At least if you study in the UK you are:
(a) closer to the Queen;
(b) close enough the Paris to pop over for a very expensive lunch; and
(c) close enough to Germany to go to a real Braeuhaus for Friday night piss-ups.

I think the exchange prospects look better and better ... :)
