well my first date with my current boyfriend was to see "Gothika"...which was not a bad movie for a first date
but i'd suggest romantic comedies:
"50 first dates"
"just married"
they are funny but also romantic and make you wanna snuggle with your gf/bf....nothing like laughing on the first day, it shows your sense of humour and that you can have fun. it also makes the night a bit less stressful/serious and a bit more lighthearted and fun

oh fuck yes! that movie is awesome! definently if you like drama etc!
umm maybe id recommend monsters ball (the uncut version).its kinda weird but good to watch with your partner for certain reason
