No one cares about your UAI although it is asked.

What's important is to be a balanced person with good sports involvement, club activities and have a good social life (which you can demonstrate by talking about football or cricket for example). Of course grades are important too - but that only means credit averages.

Got a call from KPMG for an interview next friday.

I need advices...I really don't wanna screw this up..

edit: do a lot of ppl get a chance for the first-round interview? Is it competitive to advance to the next round? I got a call that I'll be attending some behavioural assessment + interview w/ the Partner and group exercise. anyone got any words for these?

If the grad interview is anything to go by, the first round KPMG interview will be with a partner and manager. Questions include why KPMG, why the specific service line, couple of behaviourals and then a scenario question (such as the ones they ask in management consulting). They'll help you get relaxed by starting the interview with a conversation about your hobbies and such.

Numerically your odds of advancing will probably never be good in these kinds of positions, but just focus on presenting yourself the best you can and let the rest take care of itself

hey i got a call as well last yesterday i was told the exact same thing as you.
thats its a three hour process with an behavioural interview, a group excersice and a written interview.

hey guys after the intership is over is that it or would they offer u some sort of a position in the graduate program

most vacationers tend to get offered a graduate position at the end of the vacationer program but thats of course subject to your performance and other factors. but you are one step ahead of all the other thousands of graduates
