Is an 87 raw bad or not? A couple in my school said it's likely to be in the bottom half of the scores. Median is apparently 88...

its lower than it has been in the past. i.e. 2022 a 78 went to a 90. Same with other subjects, like math adv last year a 79 went to a 90. So a 87 going to 90 is pretty low

how the hell is 87 raw bad 😭 or am i just dumb
Because alignment this year is gonna be horrible ig considering everyone found it so easy. I actually wish it was a harder test. I'm probably not going to get B6 ONLY because I ended up getting 17/20 on mcq looking over it again (I changed 2 of my answers from right to wrong like always). I'll need to get 73/80 in short answer for guaranteed B6 and god knows probably like 70/80 for aligned B6 if I'm lucky. I'ma actually be so pissed if I see 89 as my hsc mark.

I did the exact same thing. I could have gotten 19/20, but I chnaged two of my correct answers and now I'm getting a 17 :(

Was it the questions regarding if tsetse was direct/indirect and the plants immune response? I'm going to remember this lesson for physics and NEVER change my MCQ answers. I'll leave the exam hall early if I even think about doing it this time.

It was the indirect/direct one and the eye diagram question. Also same, I am not going to chnage my mcq for chem or phys...

Better than me who's getting a fucking 16 and likely scored 87, which is in the bottom half apparently the expected median in my school is 88.
