Is there much difference between the Medical Science and Biomedical Science degrees? Or is it just the different unis?
Whats involved in the course and what can you do afterwards?
Thanks

There are the same thing - just different names. If you are into medical research, then MedSc is perfect for you. MedSc is a more specialised Science degree.

indeed. I do the biomedical degree at UTS and it emphasises a strong focus on laboratory skills and of course knowledge. At UTS anyway the biomedical degree is aimed for people that want to work in a pathology laboratory setting working within areas such as medical microbiology/haematology etc. The medical science degree is more aimed at people who would like to work in research and is geared towards pharmaceuticals.
