I prefer WordPress but Blogger seems quite popular too.

As you're creating a personal blog it doesn't really matter which site you use.

From the way you type, I can tell you'd be right at home with Tumblr.

I had WordPress 3 years ago, but I got bored with it after a while and moved to Tumblr.
If you want it simple, and just mainly for venting or whatever reason it is you are blogging, WP is good.
Tumblr has more social interactions in it.
You can have a personal blog on Tumblr as well.
Idk if this makes sense. :S

I vote tumblr, just because I have one (lol jks I have 2)
It's ace, but I dislike all the "tumblr famous" people who do bull shit promos. It's an immediate un-follow if someone reblogs a promo or an anorexic bitch and is like 'I wish I looked like this lol follow me!'

Also good for the occasional snippets of soft core porn.

The only interesting ones I've read were Bloggers. I don't know about Tumblr, it depends on what you want to do. Though the ones I've read always have next to no visitors and I find them because I type something specific into google to read about people who do/are interested in it. One was excellent and it was on blogger; she wrote so well! It was really entertaining and informative... anyway I guess it doesn't matter to you since you won't be reading but writing.

Well, you don't give them your blog address?
No, it is not meant specifically for teen girls. It is a blogging site meant for everyone.
It depends who you follow, your dashboard will be full of your posts and theirs.

Blogger is very simple and easy to use.

Wordpress has more functions. However, they changed the layout recently, making it hard to use.
