Hi, i have had this problem for quite a while now, and there seems to be no solution to it.
Im using :
AMD64 3200+
GA-K8NNXP mobo
512 Kingston ddr3200 ram
western digital SATA 120g
Creative Soundblaster Live 5.1 DE
When i try to run any type of games including 3dmark03, i get a blue screen of death
error messages include:
page fault in nonpaged area nv4_disp.dll (most common one)
bad pool caller
ntfs.sys
driver irql not less or equal
rtl819.sys
tcpip.exe.

i have tried reinstalling drivers for video card from the cd and the latest from nvidia.
and also the same for mobo drivers for nforce3
also tried reinstalling win xp
and removed everything: usb devices, sound card, network cables
stilll the same.
recently i found out that if i don't install any mobo drivers there seems to be no problems and when i install the drivers for mobo the problem comes back... haven't tested this fully but im pretty sure...
Can anyone help me out one this problem???

Thanks in advance

it sounds like major driver issues... i'd recommend you ask Nvidia about it... and send them an e-mail about it, it's a hardware fault, and it've more related to your video card. You sure there isn't any new driver updates, i'm sure there has been.

Uno that's rather insulting to all the helpers here, and i pressume you're Mr. 1337 fixer too, good work.

Another response to Orky, it seems to me that the Mobo Drivers, are causing conflicts with the gfx card, does this happen constantly? Or does it happen when you do certain things, e.g. play games for example.

The priority is getting it fixed. BOS doesn't need to be the only place to ask for help. I'm sure no one will be insulted that I recommended another place, unless your earning money from this.

it sounds like it might be your RAM. Try changing RAM sticks

... you shouldn't have gotten nForce3, they have been known to be problematic... the via chipset is betta

I had that problem on my nForce2 system, it was the performance settings, you have to set the optimise memory to programs rather than system cache

How about you implied that no one is competant to help this member out. You might want to re-read what you said.

I never said your incompetant, I said that forum has -smarter- people. Read it properly.

Obviously it's smarter because it's an entire forum based on computer related information.

duh.

I used to get some of the same probs as u, mainly the page fault one. Check ya mobo, and see what speed ram it can take. This was my problem. I had ddr 400 ram, and even though my mobo was made to take this speed, it could only take them for some types of ram, and i dont think my ram was on that list. So, i fixed this by actually manually turning down the ram speed in my bios to 333Mhz. Haven't had a problem with it since. I looked at upgrading my drivers, etc, but that didnt fix my problem. So, check ya ram speed, and try slowing it down to the setting below and see if that works. bad pool caller, ntfs.sys, rtl819.sys, tcpip.exe were never errors i had though, but maybe theyre all related to the instability of your system due to the ram. ntfs would be related to your hard drive though? And i kept on getting errors related to my mini dump as well, but i think that was related to the RAM too. But i could be wrong. I did a lot of reading about this on the net when this happened, cos it happened on my new computer which i got 11months ago :) Anyways, good luck with it all.

A small rabbit hole....
The easiest way to fix these problems is to get a brand new system and donate your old computer parts to charity! As a matter of fact....I'm running a charity for that right now...;)

orky. try using some older drivers. often the new ones have stablitiy issues. i find that one of the older drivers works best for my setup (ti4200- upgrading soon:)) and has the best performance. what graphics are u actually using? u haven't specified ( or i haven't read it:p)

lolz time to overclock again * i need to up the vcore and maybe vdimm. prime 95 has errors
