My local bookshop had all these "classics" on sale for $6.95 the other day. Stuff like The Great Gatsby, Les Miserables, David Copperfield, Wuthering Heights. I ended up just buying Crime and Punishment

I like Crime and Punishment. Quite readable for a classic.

Wuthering Heights is pretty awesome too. I thought it was going to be another standard Pride and Prejudice romance type novel, but it really isnt.

I spent $23.95 on a Jodi Picoult. But it was from Central stn so what can you expect.
