I love the transformations unit, with texts Hamlet and R&G are Dead. Fantastic. I find it challenging, but very rewarding. I'm doing Powerplay in the representation unit, which I also enjoy, but find it far easier.

The critical study unit is the only one I dislike, and that's because i'm not a fan of Harwood's poetry. If only we could have done In the Skin of a Lion. Such an amazing text.

pardoners tale/ a simple plan.
vent your frustration

i'll start ~ this is sooooo boring. and soooooo hard to understand. a simple plan is so old and the chicks hair really annoys me, and chaucer was an idiot! who would write that crap?

if chaucer was an 'idiot' why would his texts still be studied so many years later?

i didn't find this elective so hard, one of the easier ones actually.. but i agree about sarah's hair. haha

Brave New World/Blade Runner
Suprisingly entertaining, i actually really enjoyed Brave New World, can't say the same for the movie however... Much more interesting to talk about something other than themes and techniques in an essay and understanding the contexts of the texts really did lead to a greater appreciation for me.
I hated King Lear and Coleridge but, so dont think I'm a total nerd or whatever :p
