Did anyone else find the paper.. kinda rough? Especially at the start I was struggling with trying to "glide" my gel pen across the paper.

Yea, same- i've always found those booklets harder to write in, the lines are bigger sure- but the paper is rough, dont really know why though.

i did the hsc last yr and i found it too smooth?! my pen slipped and slid all over it! I had to go from a fine point pen to a medium pen immediately...urgh too picky

hmm.. hsc is such a waste of ink I rkn....

I mean you'd never use so much ink in such a short space of time in real life....

I don't mind the rough - I don't feel it with my fountain pen. It's actually the spacing of the lines that gets me - it's too big. It's DISTRACTING, damnit.
