When and where do I apply for bridging courses?

Is there some sort of deadline?

yes, check online at www.uac.edu.au by logging in to view your offers and change your preferences (should u choose to do so) for the later rounds

I'll be away until the 6th, but I have med interviews immediately after. Is it worth going to the uni info days?

Yes, you can change your main round preferences until 6 January. Hence preferences should matter nothing until after December 19.

each uni/course has info on their bridging courses
some courses have their own bridging courses
but you don't have to apply till you actually get into the course
and alot of the time, they don't even recommend that you do the bridging course!

The bridging courses are there for people who have a poor or lacking grasp of a field (eg maths) which they feel they will need for their selected university course. Usually the university will tell you what level of understanding you will need for study, and whether or not a bridging course is suitable for you. Should I get into med I'm heading straight to the Chemistry and Biology bridging course tables.
