Yesterday i dropped my iPod on concrete and theres fractures through the screen and 'ink blots'. You can still hear music but i can't see anything on the screen. I have the 20GB 4th generation iPod (the one after the 3rd which was the one with the buttons). Anyways i went to Apple today and they won't cover it under my warranty, so i was wondering if anyone knew a cheap place that i could get it fixed?

Apple recommended that i go to www.auipodrepairs.com which charges $130 for the repair i need. I was wondering if anyone knew any other place.:)

auipodrepairs is the best, unless you buy the LCD on ebay and fix it yourself.

If you shop around you can get a screen for like $30-$50. You can install it yourself, there are heaps of website on the net for instructions on opening your ipod and installing new screens.
