hey guys. i can access the internet with EE but not with any other browser. i usually use FF so i uninstalled it and reinstalled and i got the same prob. then i installed Opera and i still got the same problem.

why not just use internet explorer if you have a windows computer?

because IE is the bane of all web developers.

blanket approach is use system restore to a point earlier than when you started getting the problems.

Firewall? I think you have Sygate, right? Just set it so that it allows FF or Opera.

1. Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
- Both Computer AND Router (if applicable)
- Yes this sounds dumb, but you'd be surprised how often it works.

2. Are you behind a proxy?
- Open IE
- Internet Options -> Connections Tab -> LAN Settings
- If there are any settings there, make sure your other browsers also have the same

3. Any software interfering?

- <insert random vendor> INTERWEBS SECURITY PACKAGE may be interfering with it, if your running any check if its blocking your browsers.

ah. excuse my ignorance. i don't use windows so i use safari or ff. my bad =pp.
