How do you stop yourself from 'burning out'?

It seems I've already started, and year 12 isn't even here yet.

How disasterous.

Planning things help(time table) , take breaks every hour, go on a 30 min walk or excercise daily to break down stress and hormones. Go out, hang out.

Apparantly timetables are a form of negative motivation..but I dunno if it helps for you than good luck., personally, I have never been able to follow a timetable for more than a week :(

Ah yes burning out is something that all HSC\Preliminary students want to avoid as when it happens it isn't a good thing. Although luckily there are a number of things you can do to prevent burning out be it from making lists of what needs to be done and by when making sure you complete in plenty of time. Or as what most students do take time out on Friday nights\Saturdays as it can be quite refreshing, good for recharging the batteries as they say. Also a good sleep pattern is a must.

Putting measures in place to stop\reduce stress will also help prevent\lessen the effects from burning out.

I can assure you that I'm not as smart as I appear to be on these forums
lol gab, gratz on your 2k posts haha... and soon i'll be gratzing you again on your 100 uai next year! :D

Burning out = bad
If you think you're burning out, like everyone's said: take a break, relax, lie on the bed and think of nothing, and drink water. Don't isolate yourself in your room full of study notes around you. Try ringing up a mate or someone and talk over your "burning out" with that friend. Hope it helps

No way

Anyway, I suggest that the threadstarter just doesn't put all her energy into studying, and find a way to relieve the stress that is building up, maybe by taking a day or two off study every week, etc.
lol this guy is confident hes planning to be the first to get uai over 100

anyways. just study for about 40mins each sub each nite. that wat i do :) .

Yes that is pack of burning out. Although being in exams you just have to put pen to paper and knuckle down and study because it has to be done.
