Hey guys and girls,

University student offering tuition services to all preliminary and hsc students who want to succeed in Business and/or Economics. A little bit about myself.....Crazy about sports!!....sorry, back to the topic...achieved 96.00 UAI in 2007 and currently I am studying Business at UTS. Also, I am undergoing a full-time traineeship/cadetship at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

I achieved 92 for both Economics and Business Studies courses in the 2007 HSC and am well-equipped with a wide variety of resources to help you acheive your best results!

I am located in the South West Area although I am flexible in travelling to meet you closer to your house (for example, your closest library), but will attract a fee on top of your payment.

As for payment....If I am meeting you at my local library, charge rate is $25.00 an hour...or $40.00 for two hours. If I am travelling to your 'hood, Im asking for $10.00 on top of your final payment - i.e. I travel to your closest library and weave my magic for 2 hours, it'll cost you $50.00. These rates are for 1 on 1 tuition.

If you prefer to learn with your mates/girlfriends, I can also do group tuition which works out cheaper per head than private tuition. For a group of 3 people, costs are $50.00 per hour - 4 people $60.00...and so on. These rates are exclusive of the $10.00 'surcharge' on travelling out near/to your group.

I am available Saturdays and Sundays but vacancy is limited so book in before I get booked out!

Contact: Shane - after business hours on 0432 043 112 or during business hours on 8266 3171.

Cheers,

Shane :)

What sort of things will be in your lessons for Business Studies?

What notes do you have?

a detailed reference to your lessons would be nice.

Hey Michael,

In business studies I specialised in essay and report writing so those are my strengths. As for what my lessons will include, I am very flexible in teaching any part of the business course content and will aim to tailor to students' needs rather than run off my own plan - everyone is different.

On a more personal note, I found success by turning my weaknesses into stengths. So I will essentially work at improving your weaknesses and ensure that you have sound knowledge in areas that you are already confident in.

As for notes, I have my own HSC Notes that i can run off with you. Also, I have almost every HSC Business Studies revision book available in NSW (I was a freak in buying every available book for all my subjects) which will broaden your knowledge beyond what you and several other school mates already have access to. At the end of the day, only your own written notes will help you, external references can only act as a guide.

If you have any more questions please let me know.

Cheers,

Shane

Hey Michael,

Im based in Wetherill park and prefer to meet at my local library, but I can always travel to your locality assuming it is a reasonable distance for me to travel.

Just for everyone else, Sunday's are booked....Saturday 11:30am - 12:30am is still available.

Cheers,

Shane

I live in Campbelltown, i also live on acres. Which makes travel a lot more difficult. As on weekends there are no buses.

Would you be willing to travel to Campbelltown? It less than 30mins away by memory.

Hey Michael,

Unfortunately Campbelltown might be a little far for me to travel with my only available time and may delay for me other lessons.

If I do find a good economics tutor campbelltown way I will definitely PM you.

Thanks and Good Luck champ,

Shane

heyy 'aaron' ?

haha yeah i got 89 in std english...i think a lot of people give up hope early that getting 80+ for std english is impossible. at my school the highest prior to my year was 82....and only a max. of 2 people ever got over 80.
Enter Me :D 2007 hsc 89, leading 8 other people with 80+ for std english.
i sort of loved doing english!! (cant beleive im saying it) but i had a really good tutor as well (most of my resources came from her so that differed to the rest of my group) ...if you want her details please pm me and ill be happy to give them over

umm yeah dont limit yourself=]...my inital aim was 80...then after my first assessment i said i wanted 100 for it lol.

Yeah, i actually saw you talk about her in the other thread.
I hated english (hence my choosing std eng) but now i have a great teacher, and i also enjoy iy.

I got 15/15 1st for the 1st task
and 88% =1st in the AOS includ adv ext 1 and 2

so im doing ok, but if i get over i will stoked.
Im so happy to actually talk to someone who has achieved it!!
You must have been so stoked!

Sounds like you were a school leader!
oh and yes Aaron, nice to meet you.
