The key business functions of a business are:
* operations
*marketing
*Account and finance
* employment relations

The operations function involves organisisng the production of goods and services in a business, its concerned with transorming inputs into goods and services.
so when talkin about operations you are just talkin about that-(although there is an interdependence between the business fucntions)
operations in a service providint company like telstra would be:
* inputs of finance for facilities etc
*highly skilled labour in the form of .......... and lowly skilled workers for administration etc
v. good WW :)
