Though there is groups of kids (our age and younger, even a few years older) that seem to look to get into fights with tourists, especially rowdy disrespecting tourists. They hang in packs and you can tell who they are.. Just leave them alone I guess, they pretty much don't exist in pubs and clubs due to them being young and the such. Chances you won't even see them as there will be so many people around. They fail at life.

Hi Guys

I went to schoolies at byron last year and had an absloute BLAST!

Im not sure if anyone has given you this info yet but i thought i mite put my own 2cents in.

Heaps of Melboure schoolies kids head to Byron which i thought was great as its just a good mix of people.

For all the girls the shopping is great lots of little market type shops with hippy clothes and nik nacks.

NIGHTLIFE---CHEECKY MONKEYS IS THE BEST BY FAR!!!!!!!!!!

also the pub right up the end of the main street near main beach is is great.

For all the under agers there are beach partys every night so u wont miss out and still alot of the ppl old enough to hit the clubs go to them aswell.

They are pretty strict on ID's if its cut or fake big chance you wont get in. If it is real and looks a little like you just be prepared for the usual questions and you should be fine.

10 of us stayed on Childe St right across from Belongil beach its about 20mins-30mins walk along the beach depending upon what type of state you are in. If there is a group of you take a maxi taxi if you dont feel like walking it works out about $2 each for us to get from town to our accom it was about $10 in a normal taxi so it does save!

im from eastern suburbs and heaps of people from here are going 22-29th.
from 4 different schools there are massive groups of ppl going then.

By that I mean - the entire populus of Byron Bay is going to know you're coming and they will pack up and fuck off, leaving a deserted town much like that of The Hills Have Eyes 2.

JUST DON'T FUCKING LITTER WHEN YOUR HERE OR YES, YOU WILL GET SOOKED AT.
