Hello, I was just wondering with business cadetships - are you only allowed to pursue a single degree at uni, because working full-time is really demanding.
Also, if I'm applying for a UBS cadetship, the website doesn't specify which area/dept I will be placed in - so what should I be expecting. And would I ever be offered a role in their core operations; as an investment bank or in asset management as a cadet?

Thanks so much!

Are you wanting to do a double degree? I don't know many which allow or encourage it anymore...

I'm not exactly sure, but I might do want to do something like com/law, or com/info sys, com/something
I know people doing a Cadetship with UBS doing Comm/Law. Of course, it would require very effective time management – and sacrificing social time – but it is manageable, and they certainly wouldn't disallow it.

Hey mate, I don't think they've replied to anybody yet. I'm not sure how long to expect. If I was to make a guess it would be within the next 1-2 weeks.

I don't think I got the email. Other people I know have. Do they send out a rejection email, and when do they send it out?

I'm not too sure, unfortunately. Keep checking your emails however, they may still be sending out links.

You can't. I think he's referring to your application ID. There is no way there would be 8000 applicants.

As for the test, it really just questions your problem-solving skills and logic. Not much you can do to prepare. Make sure you do it in a quiet area and have some paper with you. What makes it difficult is the time limit. Good luck!
