Hey, i would like to know how do you calculate the volume of co2 in fermentation of glucose
A student prepares 250mL of 5% (w/v) glucose solution and adds 1 gram of yeast
Calculate the volume of carbon dioxide ( at 25 degrees and 100kpa) produced

Write up a balanced chemical equation for fermentation. DW about the yeast.
Multiply 5% by 250ml to find how much pure glucose there is.
Use n=m/mm to find the moles. Then find the moles of CO2 released.
Use the n=v/VM formula to find the volume released.
:)
