so you all advise to write really good essays that cover everything and memorise them?

yeah, pretty, much but learn how to manipulate...anyway the reason i memorise essays is bcoz i can't make up hard words on the spot, etc, by memorising essays, i'm learning content and complex language as well.

complex language is important, coz one of the marking guidlines is that the students should have "flair" in their essays.

I did speeches and Ted Hughes this year and I was wondering.
How would you write a pre prepared essay on that?
Its difficult cos there are like 10 speeches to cover, as well as several poems in Ted Hughes :(
Any suggestions on what I should include?

Thanx

you dont have to know all of the poems and all of the speeches

say u learn 3 speeches in detail, and have a brief knowledge of the rest, ur fine. They may specify one speech in the exam, and ulll hav that covered to mention it briefly, then theyll jus ask u to write about a min of 2 otehr speeches

and for Ted Hughes im pretty sure u just pick 2 poems..
