Can an entire album be used for a related text ? (1 Viewer)

For example, i'm thinking about using Channel Orange by Frank Ocean or Doris by Earl Sweatshirt for my related text.

Here's why:
1) I won't need to learn them inside and out as I already know all the songs quite well
2) Some songs are very ambiguous, meaning I can adapt them easier
3) It's easier to remember a song than it is to remember some random text haha

Originally I was only going to use one song from each album but then I couldn't adapt that song to accommodate some questions.
So do you guys reckon writing about the album in general and what the artist is trying to convey, etc ?

Basically it's just like a big book and each song is a chapter haha

Thoughts ?

Albums can be used. However, you need to analyse more than just the lyrics.

BOS can ask for as many as they want. Before 2008, more than one was the norm.

Sure, it's their call. Chances are very small, but it's entirely possible. Most students a few years ago prepared at least three.
