my friend went to one
i dont really see a point in it
they FORCE you to study
ie: put u in a room with ppl and its just total silence for like 6 hrs a day

not very productive in my opinion
however if u really are seirous
then contact me
ill hold a camp at my house
pay me hourly and ill force u to study >=)

Its a bit extreme and a waste of money.
Just chuck yourself in one of those individual tables in the State Library for hours.

that sounds really good except for the 'compulsory' christian activity. i'm not religious - to me it would be a waste of time and money.

yeah i wouldn't mind , except they say that people are expected to partake in the Christian talks and stuff. if i could sit aside and work, i would still go, but i dont want to be forced into listening to christian talks. unl;ess thats just bullshit and you can sit out if you choose??

well, you can't, because it IS a christian thing after all. Its only for about an hour a day. Plus its only for a week, l'm sure you can stand an hour of religion each day for a week. It seriously won't kill you.

personally i think it is a bit of a waste of money..like, (if you can do it) why not just follow the schedule but do it in your own home, or the library or something?

what schedule?

Also some people have problems at home, like its too noisy, little brother or sister annoying you etc. In the library your tecaher isn't there to help you. But at the study camp l go to (my signature) you have tutors (about 20-30) who tutor every kind of subject, so if you have problems, they are only a question away.

Yeah you sure do. You can listen to your music (discman) or you can eat lollies, you can do anything basically as long as you aren't disrupting other people. You study 6 hours a day, not all at once, you have free time and meals etc.
