with appfin, you need to do econ110, econ111, econ141 plus either econ200 or econ201.

actually 2003 cutoff is 90.00 and 2004 cutoff is 90.05....
B ACC/B BUS ADMIN 2003 is like 91.3, 2004 91......

If i accept B ACC/B Fin...can i change it later to Bus Admin / Acc...before i start uni ??? if i make more research and ask more ppl about how they feel btw the two????

lol I was talking about something like this with my friend, single degree's though, some went down some went up, so yeah I must be confused =p

I don't know about changing offers, I didn't know you could once you accepted it.

Applied Finance has alot of economics yeah, and there's actual finance subjects, you learn things like compound interest techniques on loans and things.

BBA/BCom (Bachelor of Business Administration/Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)) This combination will suit students who seek to combine a professional accounting degree with the more broadly focused BBA which prepares students for careers in management.

BAppFin/BCom (Bachelor of Applied Finance/Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)) This combination will equip students for careers combining both accounting and finance, in the accounting profession, in industry and in government.

FROM MAcquarie uni site....
think Finance is more professional dealing with money stuff..i will remain it like tat then...can't bothered changing my preference again..infact...i did change a few times already..LOL...
So, Reaver...do u work as a cadet for any big accounting firms? i applied for...but failed the first stage.... =.=|||

Nah I didn't, I actually worked in a bank for a while. And they couldn't find anything for me to do. Hmph.

I was waiting for second year to start looking for work experience in a firm, but I actually intensely dislike accounting haha

Hm, in any subject at Macq the work is pretty constant, keep up and you'll do fine.
Personally I don't keep up and leave it till last minute like I did HSC, but it doesn't seem to be working as well, lol. Although the course doesn't seem too hard at all.

We don't get studyvac or anything so people think its really quick between lectures and then suddenly exams, but yeah that's the way it is, we get extra other holidays.

Edit: More stuff.

normally..how many students are in this course? fin/acc??? >100???
Sorry, I don't know that, there's like three or four on this board, but I never actually met anyone at uni who did it, because the subjects are same for like heaps of comm type degrees, you'd tend to meet people who do other degrees.
