Hi everyone
(Note: the following isn't about med)

My course has a requirement of a credit (65) average to stay in the course and to progress to honors. Also, there are 12 subjects which make up 30% of my honors mark, and I did 3 of them this semester:

I got an average of 60.66 (marks were 59, 60 & 63).

1. Will I get kicked out of my course? (i.e. is the required average calculated by semester or annually?).

2. Is it possible to make a big comeback? i.e. so that the average mark which makes up the 30% is around say 80? (It's currently at 60.66, having done 3 out of the 12 courses).

Thanks

I think it is before you get to the last year of your course that you need to keep your credit average. (in my degree anyway).

In my 3 year degree, at the end of year 2, your overall wam has to be in credit average or higher before proceeding to Year 3. If you are not, they kick you out of B MedSc into B Sc. :(

If it is for a scholarship that you need to maintain an average, then it is either year by year of semester by semester that the average must be maintained. As for courses themselves, I am not sure ...

OK that makes sense.
