here are my ranks

i haven't really done much work after trials. do you think i can get 97? i go to a school which comes about 4th in the state every year.

English Adv: 154/162
English Ext: 70ish/90 ish
Maths 3u: 43/130ish
Maths 4u: 38/72
Music 2: 3/5
Chem: 55/75


i want to get into pharm ... think i can?

Yes - you still have a chance of 97 - especially as only one of your English Advanced units has to count. You still need to do a fair bit of work though - I'd say you need your exam marks to be better than your assessment marks.

yeah theres a possibility that you can get 97, considering the good quality of the cohort of your school, but you still have to work your butt off to achieve that
id say you definitely will get 90+, but 97.....all depends on you

at this rate definitely over 90, but like i said earlier, its up to you as to how far above 90 you can get

4u maths will probably guarantee you somewhere over 94-95 provided your 3u is alright. you probably need to come through in english.

For comparison, my ranks last year got me a UAI just below 97, and we came 22nd in Daily Telegraph last year:

English Adv ~ 55th/220
English Ext ~ 50/90
2U Maths: equal 10th/90
3U Maths: 19th/70-ish
Bio ~23rd/80
Chem~ 26th/50
Music 2 =3/5

As you can see, our ranks are quite similar, and since your school is ranked 4th, I think there's a strong chance of you getting a UAI of 97+.
