Um okay, so lets be honest here. When I did the HSC, By the Grace of Jesus I always made sure to stay above atleast half the cohort population. Obviously that wasn't true for English advanced and Maths Extension. I think I was ranked 57/99 for eng adv and 10/13 for math ext as I failed my first assessment and couldn't for some reason get out of just pass. However, By the Grace of Jesus, I got a raw mark of 79/100 for eng adv and 41/50 for maths extension pushing my ATAR up into the 80's. You still have 3 more assessments to go and they only contribute 50% while the HSC exam conributes 50%. You got this. Just perform well in the other 3 assessments and prioritize performing well in the HSC because it makes all the difference. Good luck and let me know how you go. Also, instead of depending on the ranking of your school, focus on your individual performance :)

I just read your question by the way and you asked to calculate but I think don't judge the ATAR based off your first assessment coz it tends to demotivate and discourage

You have plenty of assessments, including trial left to improve your rank. I don't know your school, but most likely the weighting of the first assessment is slightly lower than the others that will come, to ease you into the year, so it isn't over before it has started.

If you are aiming for 80 ATAR, my recommendation would be to do Standard 2 rather than just Standard 1, as it scales a bit better. (your Adv rank doesn't look too bad)

A top 150 school won't save you if you don't perform, neither will a 400 school necessarily pull you down if you do well. As bobjess said, focus on yourself and the marks will take care of themselves, you might surprise yourself.
