Hi guys, been really worried about what my atar will be because i’m really praying to get into my
Course which requires a minimum of 90.

Would love to know your opinion. Would mean a lot.

My school was ranked 121 for hsc results in 2016

My results:

Average mark/rank
Ancient:95 4/33
Modern:84 11/74
PDHPE:86 6/56
Bio:76 34/67
English:71 70/117

I'd say 90 is pushing it. I reckon those ranks would correlate to around an 83-84. To achieve your 90 goal, I think you should really pick up on Bio and English (top 10 would be awesome), get into top 5 for PDHPE & Modern and try 1st for Ancient [this may seem pretty daunting, but you have plenty of time > adopt a growth mindset!]. Also, don't just aim for your goal > try your hardest and get as high an atar as possible (i.e. get as high a mark/rank as you can for each subject). Getting a relatively high atar will ensure you have flexibility in case you decide to change your desired uni course.
Some other users may provide a different opinion, so don't overly rely on mine lol
Hope dat helps! :)
